The festival organizing committee is thrilled to announce the expanded 2026 festival will once again be held in historic Ellijay at five iconic host performance venues on Mother’s Day weekend, May 8-10, 2026.
We are very excited about our expanded fourth year including a name change to the “Ellijay Music Festival” as we will add a band and additional musical genres to our stellar lineup of award-winning, local, regional, and Nashville songwriters and performing artists plus exciting additional activities including a complimentary festival launch party for sponsors, host venue operators, VIPs and special guests at spectacular Deep South Farm in Ellijay, and a new “Late Night Hang After Party” at The Butcher and Bottle restaurant.
All songwriter performances are free except our two ticketed headline performances at the Gilmer Arts Playhouse by Ellijay’s own Surrender Hill on Friday night, May 8th and Nashville superstar hit songwriter Anthony Smith on Saturday night, May 9th.
